Alastor Moody † Fought in the First Wizarding War, the Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996) and was murdered during the Battle of the Seven Potters (1997).
Kingsley Shacklebolt Second Order Fought in the; Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996), Battle of the Seven Potters (1997); led the Order during the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998.
Aberforth Dumbledore First Order, Second Order Younger brother of the Order's founder and leader. Assisted Dumbledore's Army in 1997-1998 by passing food and supplies into the Room of Requirement. Assisted Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley in Malfoy Manor by sending Dobby to rescue them, and later by hiding them in the Hog's Head when Death Eaters were watching Hogsmeade. Fought in (and, in the film, led) the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998.
Arabella Figg After the initial fall of Lord Voldemort, Mrs Figg was tasked to watch over Harry Potter throughout his life in Little Whinging by Dumbledore. Acted as a witness in Harry's defence for his criminal hearing in 1995; Is a Squib.
Alice Longbottom First Order Fought in the First Wizarding War; tortured into insanity using the Cruciatus Curseby Barty Crouch Jr, Rodolphus, Rabastan and Bellatrix Lestrange at the end of the conflict.
Benjy Fenwick † First Order Murdered/mutilated during the First Wizarding War.
Caradoc Dearborn Disappeared during the height of the First Wizarding War; his body was never found, but he was presumed dead.
Dedalus Diggle First Order, Second Order Member of the Advance Guard in 1995; one of two Order members assigned to evacuate the Dursleys in 1997.
Dorcas Meadowes † First Order Murdered by Lord Voldemort in the First Wizarding War.
Edgar Bones† Murdered by Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War along with his wife and children. Hagrid considered the Bones family to be among the best witches and wizards of the age.
Elphias Doge First Order, Second Order Part of the Advance Guard in 1995; appears to have helped shadow Harry in the years before he started Hogwarts.
Emmeline Vance † Member of the Advance Guard in 1995; murdered by Death Eaters in 1996.
Fabian Prewett † First Order Fought and murdered in the First Wizarding War by five Death Eaters, including Antonin Dolohov.

Marlene McKinnon † Murdered along with her family in the First Wizarding War by Death Eaters, including Travers.
Minerva McGonagall Second Order Did not join the Order during the First Wizarding War, preferring to work instead as a spy for the Ministry of Magic.[6] Joined by the time of the Second Wizarding War, believing the Ministry had become corrupt and dangerous.[6] Fought in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower (1997) and the Battle of Hogwarts (1998).
Mundungus Fletcher First Order, Second Order Assigned to watch over Harry Potter in 1995. Participated in the Battle of the Seven Potters, but fled as soon as Voldemort attacked him and Alastor Moody. Later, under duress, assisted Harry, Hermione, and Ron in locating Salazar Slytherin's Locket.
Peter Pettigrew † First Order Defected and joined Death Eaters; betrayed the Potters to Lord Voldemort. Killed by his own silver hand after hesitating to kill Harry.
Remus Lupin† First Order, Second Order Participated in both the First and Second Wizarding Wars. Fought in the; Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996), Battle of the Astronomy Tower (1997), Battle of the Seven Potters (1997), and was murdered during the Battle of Hogwarts (1998) by Antonin Dolohov. He was a werewolf.
Rubeus Hagrid Fought in the; Battle of the Astronomy Tower (1997), Battle of the Seven Potters(1997), and Battle of Hogwarts (1998). Half giant.
Severus Snape † Defected from Death Eaters before the end of the First Wizarding War, due to his love for Lily Evans; spy during the Second Wizarding War; murdered during the Battle of Hogwarts by Voldemort.
Sirius Black† Fought in both the First and Second Wizarding Wars. Let the Order use his family home as its headquarters. Murdered by his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996). Was in Azkaban for supposedly murdering Peter Pettigrew, broke out in 1993.
Sturgis Podmore Arrested in 1996 attempting to break into the Department of Mysteries under the Imperius Curse. Member of the Advance Guard in 1995.
Arthur Weasley Second Order Fought in the Battle of the Seven Potters (1997) and the Battle of Hogwarts (1998).
Bill Weasley Fought in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower and the Battle of the Seven Potters in 1997, and the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998.
Charlie Weasley Assigned to recruit foreign wizards and led reinforcements to the Battle of Hogwarts (1998).
Fleur Delacour Second Order[7][7](assumed) Fought in the Battle of the Seven Potters (1997) and the Battle of Hogwarts  (1998).
Fred Weasley † Fought in the Battle of the Seven Potters (1997) and the Battle of Hogwarts in (1998), killed by an explosion during the battle.
George Weasley Fought in the Battle of the Seven Potters (1997), during which he lost his left ear, and the Battle of Hogwarts (1998).
Harry Potter Fought in the; Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996), Battle of the Astronomy Tower (1997), Battle of the Seven Potters (1997), and defeated Lord Voldemort for good during the Battle of Hogwarts (1998). Also helped render Voldemort mortal (and vulnerable) by finding his Horcruxes, along with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, also destroyed Tom Riddle's Diary.
