Honestly beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people will think one or both of these men are handsome but some think they're not.
In the book, Harry is thin and a bit shorter than average and very nearsighted, always needing glasses. Though his prowess in quiddich makes him a good athlete. He was able to win the Tri-Wizard Tornament. He was able to dig Dobby's grave. Obviously, Ginny thinks he's great. And McLaggen, for all his looks and size, he was a pain in the neck and nobody wanted him around except Slughorn.
