Welcome to Harry Potter Answers. What would you like to know?

No. No spell or magic of any kind can truly reawaken the dead. Not even the Resurrection Stone, which comes closest, by bringing back the actual soul of the deceased for the summoner (and only the summoner) to see, but does not return it to life.

In muggle terms, Harry had a near death experience. It is implied that he went briefly to limbo. In his subconscious, limbo took the form of King's Cross Station, which to Harry, represents the transition between one stage of life and another. (His transition from muggle life, to magical life.)

If he had not chosen to come back, Dumbledore said that he would be able to board a train that would take him "on." Had he decided not to return, and boarded the train, it is then he would have died.
